M. Hopple & Company 2010 Holiday Card Contest Winners

I'm thrilled to have had a watercolor of Music Hall entitled "Holiday Opening Night" selected for M. Hopple & Co's 2010 Holiday Card contest. Here is a photo of the six artists who had cards selected. All the work is very different and I think it makes a nice variety. The theme this year was Erich Kunzel's many contributions to our city and distinguished judges of the contest included Michael Chertock, Kathy Wade and Janelle Gelfand.

You can buy individual cards or packages of ten at the store located at 7737 Kenwood Rd., right near Kenwood Mall. The display featuring the cards is right by the cashier and there is free imprinting on the insides of these cards until Oct 31.

Finished the Bridge: East-facing

Today I exhibited this finished 3 x 4 ft. painting at the Hyde Park Art Show on my birthday. Glad to have finished it and thrilled that it was hung in such a prominent spot 2 weeks ago at the Mason Arts Festival and won an honorable mention ribbon in the City Gallery.
