NEUSOLE GLASSWORKS MOBILE HOTSHOP ON SITE DURING AUGUST FINAL FRIDAY

Yes, it’s Final Friday at the Pendleton Art Center tonight from 6-10 pm. Margi Meier, Celsius 100 fused glass artist, Glenda Suttman, ceramicist, and I, painter of home portraits and other architectural subjects welcome you to join us for refreshments in our studio #507 on the fifth floor across from the elevators.

Watch Ben Johnson and Jim Labold as they work to create their own forms of glass art. The mobile hotshop is a 24 foot fully equipped one of a kind glassblowing studio and stage transported by an attached cab. The hotshop has the capacity to run fully self contained or to be connected to free standing electric and propane. Lighting is provided inside the vehicle allowing for late night scheduling. The furnace takes 24 hours to heat up to 2100 degrees.

There will be music on the loading dock and chairs to relax outside between the 3 buildings, so kick off Labor Day weekend by enjoying some fine art and free fun. Self park or valet at the front door for $5.

The Reds are on the road I think, in Houston and the Bengals played in Indy last night but there are world beach volleyball matches in Washington Park and the big Riverfest fireworks on the Ohio Sunday night.
